After over 40 years living and breathing Fertility Awareness, I’m now in the throes of rewriting the book for the 30th anniversary edition of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, to be released in 2025. So unfortunately, I have to stay completely focused on the book before I can even allow myself a well-deserved breakdown. 🥺
Please know that I will do my best to get back to people if or when I can, but realistically, it may be weeks or even longer before I’m able to do so.
Thanks so much for your patience as I complete this exciting but daunting project. I’m hoping you will agree that it was well worth the wait.

Hi Toni,
I’m not exaggerating when I say your book has changed my life. I found your book in 2008 at a moment in my life when I really needed it. Since then, I haven’t looked back. I’ve been charting for 17 years and it has been invaluable in understanding not only my cycles but also myself. I’m so grateful for what you’ve shared and I wish that every woman has this knowledge. I’m excited to learn that a 30th anniversary edition is forthcoming! Now that I’m entering peri-menopause, I hope this new edition might also include more information on what happens to our cycles during this pivotal, transitional and transformational time. There is a dearth of information for women to stay informed about their bodies as they try to navigate this wild west. Thank you for your commitment to educating women with this very important knowledge about our bodies and ourselves.
Hi Grace, this is Toni Weschler.
Thank you so much for your incredibly sweet comments about my book. And yes, the new edition will have much more about perimenopause. In addition, I highly recommend two excellent books about it:
Lara Biden’s Hormone Repair manual, and Aviva Romm’s Hormone Intelligence.
I wish you the very best, Grace!

Hi Toni,
I’m 48 years old and just reading your amazing book for the first time. Luckily, I’m still cycling, so there’s time to practice firsthand, even if it’s relatively short and the cycles become irregular with impending menopause. I’m SO excited about and grateful for the content of your book. And your tone in conveying so much good info is ideal and delightful for my uptake: intelligent, warm and humorous. It is pure antidote to the various obstructions and siphons of being a woman in our society. I look forward to the new edition and applaud your dedication to this topic and education all of these years.
Take care,
Kate
Hello! Will the new book be coming out in early 2025 or late 2025?
Hi Tina,
It may in fact be pushed into 2026 because there’s a lot to cover! Thank you for your patience!
Sincerely,
Toni
Can’t wait!! Any updates on date release?
Hi Kassie,
Thank you for asking – it’s been a heavy lift to go over all the new material, so the release date may be pushed into 2026. We will see!
Sincerely,
Toni
I started charting in 2018, so the 20th anniversary edition was relatively new at the time, and I was very thankful for it. I’m looking forward to ordering the 30th anniversary edition when it’s available and learning what new research and knowledge is available!
Thank you for the support Rae!
So excited for the 30th anniversary edition! Can’t wait to see what all you’ve come up with to add to an already fantastic book!
Thank you Kay!
Amazing!! You got this Toni! Thank you for your dedication to this field of work. Can’t wait to get my hands on this next edition!
Thank you for the support Mary!
